Reviews and Ratings <br />
My stay at Almaplena was a blend of beauty and challenges. The hotel is stunning, located on a private stretch of beach, and the rooms offer fantastic views. However, the seagrass issue significantly impacted our experience, making swimming impossible during our visit. The food was decent, but could use some variety in breakfast options. Overall, it’s a beautiful place that needs to communicate better about the beach conditions.
I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel, but ultimately, my experience was mixed. The location is stunning and quite remote, which I appreciated for its tranquility, but the beach was severely affected by seaweed, making it less enjoyable. The room we had was beautiful and romantic, but lacking some amenities like air conditioning. The service was commendable, especially from the manager who did her best during a tough situation. Overall, while there were highlights, I felt let down by the beach conditions and lack of transparency about them.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at Almaplena. On one hand, the location was ideal for solitude and relaxation, and the room offered beautiful ocean views. However, the severe seaweed issue on the beach was a huge letdown, making swimming impossible. The staff's efforts to provide good service were commendable, but overall, the experience was not what I'd hoped for.
I had mixed feelings about my visit to this eco resort. While the rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly, the beach was overwhelmed with seaweed, which made swimming and snorkeling impossible. It's important to note that this may not be the best spot for water activities right now. I wouldn't recommend making a long drive here just for that purpose.
The hotel is set in a remote and beautiful location, perfect for those looking to escape and enjoy the natural beauty of the Caribbean. The rooms are spacious with great views, but the beach was unfortunately overrun with unpleasant piles of seaweed, which made swimming impossible. The dining experience was mixed with limited breakfast options and some inconsistent food quality. Overall, while there are charming aspects, the management seems to struggle with seagrass issues and transparency regarding conditions.
